The last few years we have been an open tournament. This year, however, we are not going to open our tournament for the 20th Annual Reno Tournament of Champions. This is only for the college tournament.

The tournament details are outlined in the college contract.

We look forward to hosting one of the best tournaments in the nation this year!

This year’s Reno Tournament of Champions will mark the 20th Anniversary of the tournament. Every year the tournament hosts some of the best high school and college teams and athletes from all over the U.S. in what is dubbed “The Toughest Tournament in the U.S.A.”

The RTOC college tournament began as a dual format with Nebraska edging Oklahoma State in a tie breaker to claim the inaugural tournament victory. It has quickly moved into the tournament format we currently host today.

The high schools will kick off the 20th RTOC on Dec. 19-20 with the college team and open tournament taking place on Dec. 21. The tournament will take place inside the Reno Events Center.

As we look toward this year, we are looking forward to getting as many of the original teams back into the tournament to celebrate the 20th Anniversary.

With that said, it is important for you to get your contracts in as soon as possible to reserve your spot in the tournament. With the college portion of the tournament being one day we can only have a maximum of 32 teams.

Should you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact us. We look forward to seeing you all in Reno from Dec. 19-21!
